Fourth of July weekend

We all went to Lake Chelan for the weekend of the 4th. Brian and Katie even drove up from california and spent the weekend with us. We stayed in the condo for the first time since it has been re-finished (due to flooding). We just mostly hung out, went boating and sat by the pool.

Kofi's hair when we went really fast

Kofi really loved it when Rob let him drive the boat. We were just going really slow and kofi just was steering the boat. Then all of the sudden Kofi grabbed the gear and pushed it all the way down and we went flying. Rob drove for the rest of the time after that.

Strawberry Farm

Kristi planned a trip to this really cool strawberry farm. It is a place where you can go and pick your own strawberries. It had a lot of fun stuff for the kids to do. They had a train to ride on, goats, and a really neat play area that even had a spinning strawberry ride. The kids had so much fun and it is so cheap.

This is the kids listening to a story about strawberries

This is a cute little train that we rode around the farm in

Kristi was the first one on the train even before any of the kids were

Kofi would just pick the strawberries and eat them insted of filling up his basket

Crazy Week

The week after my cousins left Bob and Judy went to Paris for their anniversary so we helped take care of the kids. We did a ton of fun stuff. We had a couple sleepovers with Sarah, Kristi, Lindsay and the kids. We went to a really cool strawberry farm, we did the slip and slide, ate a ton of homemade oreo cookies, and watched a lot of So You Think You Can Dance. It was pretty chaotic but it was so much fun.

Rewind

I haven't got around to posting anything for a while but I have a ton of cute pictures from the last month so I am just going to rewind.

Cousins

My sister Lexi and my cousins Dana and Sam came to visit me this past weekend. My other cousin Mckenna was supposed to come with them but she got really sick last minute and had to stay home. I was really bummed that she wasn't able to come but it was better that she was sick at home rather be sick here. It has been a long time since I have been able to spend some time with my cousins. We spent a lot of time just hanging out at my house watching movies and eating (of course). We went to Seattle and went to Pike Place which was sadly my first time there. Rob never really wanted to take me there but it was actually pretty cool. We went shopping at a couple different malls, Rob took us out on the big boat, we played home run derby, and had a BBQ with the family. Torrin of course was showing off for Lexi the entire time that we were at their house. He made her follow him around where ever he went. I kinda felt bad that everyone was inside watching our new favorite show So You Think You Can Dance and poor Lexi was stuck outside with all of the kids.

Kofi Waiting For Robbie

Kofi abosolutely loves Rob, one of his most frequent questions he asks me is "Where's Rob?" When I get him out of his bed every morning usually the first thing he asks me is "Where's Rob?" Rob comes over every Friday to the house to work. If I tell Kofi that Robbie is coming over he will sometimes just sit in front of the window at wait for him. These are just some cute pictures that I have taken of Kofi waiting for his big brother Robbie. For some reason he is always sitting or standing on some type of chair. It is the cutest thing ever!

This time he actually moved the chair over
and straped himself in the booster chair

Weekend in Utah

Father's Day weekend Rob and I went down to Utah with my in-laws to see Stephi's new baby A.J. We stayed in salt lake at the Grand America with Rob's Family. We drove down on Father's day and surprised my dad. I thought he was going to have a heart attack when he opened the front door and saw us standing there. We took Kenai with us because he was flying home with us that night. We went to my over to grandma's house to celebrate father's day. It was really great to see everyone and they were all excited to see Rob who that haven't seen in quite a while. It was nice to get away even if it was just for a couple of days.

I Really Suck at Blogging!

Wow it is now almost July and I haven't put one thing on my blog since March. I have at least thought about updating it but every time I go to do it I get distracted by something else. Maybe since I am taking a break from "working" I will be more motivated to do it.

Starting My Blog

Sarah and Kristi have been bugging me that I should start a blog. Truthfully when I first heard about it I thought it sounded like a really stupid idea. It seemed dumb because we don't have any kids yet and I didn't know what else I would "blog" about. But when they showed me theirs and told me that I should keep it as a journal I kinda changed my mind. I think it will also be a good way to stay in touch with my family. My extended family actually already has a "family page" and it has worked great as a way to keep up with everybody's family. After a period of time my grandma prints everything that has been posted on the page and makes it into a book. So I think I am going to try and do that with this blog. So we will see how it goes.
